A Day Tour Adventure in Secret Paradise!

CANIBAD is one of the secluded places in Island Garden City of Samal. It is also called as a"Hidden Paradise", but known for its name "Canibad".  It is famous for its diving cliff. If you are a nature-lover, a diver, wants to relax, wants to get out from the stressful and noisy city, wants to reflect and meditate, be alone or be with family and friends, Cannibad is a great destination.

Getting there in Two ways!

> By Land (for solo or partner-travelling)

- If you really want a real adventure, try this! Me and my travel-bud Mike took a motorcycle ride from Barangay Babak to Barangay Aundanao for one-way trip of Php 200.00 only. Of course! it is an advantage if you made a good deal with the driver before you jump unto his motorcycle. We traveled at around 8-9am and had almost 2 hours trip. Along the trip you will do that "frog posture". Be sure to have a better grip because the road is so rough, going up-hill and down-hill.  "Damn Crazy road!", said Mike. It's like we had both arms and legs-workout after the travel because of sores. Plus the scorching heat of the sun. Good thing we were on our sunblock, eye-wear and shawl. We didn't pay the driver for our back-trip because we thought of an option - "boat-hitching" by using our "word-of-mouth", convincing powers and good looks to ask or hitch a ride. So, we took the driver's number in case we need him to pick us up by 4pm.

40 SEATER OUTRIGGER BOAT
> By Water

This is the easiest way to get there. In fact it will only take you 30-45 minutes from Sta. Ana Wharf or Sasa Wharf. It is advantageous to those who will go in groups (family, friends, workmates, classmates). This is also one of the destinations included on Island Hopping Tour Packages. Diving Centers found at Sta. Wharf cater these kinds of packages. You need to book earlier and make reservations for the boat rental at Sta. Ana Wharf or check Online:
